E69 In the Vortex of Gratitude with Dr. Marcy Cole

Dr. Marcy Cole is a powerful force of change and healing, and I’m so honored to have her as a guest on this episode.  She is a Holistic Psychotherapist, Author, Speaker, Community Mobilizer and Humanitarian Visionary.  For over 20 years, Dr. Cole has been working with countless individuals interested in improving the quality of their lives.  In addition to being the best-selling co-author of “Living Proof: Celebrating the Gifts that Came Wrapped in Sandpaper” and “Get Your Woman On: Embracing Beauty, Grace and the Power of Women”, Dr. Cole is also a blog contributor for the Huffington Post, Thrive Global and Goop.  She speaks on a variety of topics and has been featured as an expert on TV shows including Dr. Drew’s LifeChangers, Millionaire Matchmaker, Braxton Family Values and Issues with Jane Valez-Mitchell.

In 2004, Dr. Cole founded First Tuesday LA, a women’s group dedicated to creating a sense of community through social connectivity, professional networking and social service.  In 2018 I attended Dr. Cole’s Epic Day event where I was able to experience amazing speakers including Jack Canfield, Originator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, Lisa Nichols, Celebrated Motivational Speaker, Dr. Michael Beckwith, Founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center,  and Dr. John DeMartini, Researcher and Educator on Human Behavior.  These are just a few of the amazing speakers Dr. Cole has brought to her First Tuesday LA events which are life changing.

In this interview we talk about Dr. Cole’s journey and topics that have touched her soul and motivated her to

remain committed to her her Holistic Psychotherapy practice, Produce Co-Ed Life Enrichment events, create a platform promoting the connection between women and couples without children and children in need, and Facilitate social, emotional and mindfulness programs for students, faculty and parents at The John Thomas Dye K-6 independent school in Bel Air, California
